ALT Sacramento, Calif., — The Anti Police-Terror Project is here to support our Sacramento community in the wake of last night’s mass shooting. Families are waking up this morning having lost a loved one. There are no words for the depth of the pain our people are experiencing. In the face of such senseless violence, we will join as a community to listen to families directly impacted, make space for them to grieve, and come together to process this unbearable tragedy. We are making Mental Health First Sacramento, our mental health crisis hotline, available immediately. If you are impacted by last night's shooting, please call: 916-670-4062. Our team of trained volunteers are able to listen and provide resources.

ALT During these unprecedented storms and this storm system, SacPD has continued to sweep encampments. Stealing the only survival gear that many of them have exactly when they need it most. Please call in Tuesday to inform city council that this is a violation of the constitution and cruel to subject those with the least to suffer even worse than they already are.

ALT Where: Zoom (link in profile) When: Tuesday, January 10th @5pm What: Call to tell city council to stop the sweeps of unhoused folks and the stealing of their survival gear including RVs and cars How: Zoom Link in profile, raise your hand when they start the “matters not on agenda” item at the end.

ALT Background is a sunrise that fades from blue at the top through purple, red, and yellow to a sun rising behind the Sacramento skyline. White text reads "No Stigma No Shame festival: a Day of Healing with Music & Community." This is followed by a list of performers which will be in threaded tweets.
