Seven years of teaching, including five years with Atlanta Public Schools, and a heart committed to making a difference in the lives of her students.
Ms. Ross, a 7th-grade math teacher at Sylvan Hills Middle School, creates a classroom where learning, laughter, collaboration, and joy come together. Her students aren’t just learning mathematical concepts—they’re learning to think critically, work together, express themselves, and believe in their own abilities.
The smiles and laughter in her classroom say so much about the environment she has created. Her students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, making mistakes, and being themselves.

Another ALM Friday @APSHeritage where students explored careers in Food Science & Culinary Arts. Last week, students were able to experience them through hands-on activities that brought the careers to life! Learning by doing!
Planning, learning, and sharing @APSSylvanHills! Loved working alongside teachers in PLCs as we explored purposeful tech integration with @CanvaEdu, @DiffitApp, and HMH. I especially loved seeing teachers share their knowledge and learn from one another along the way!
