Leaked Microsoft screenshots show an India-based engineer received approval to view U.S. government cloud logs.
A Microsoft whistleblower contacted me and shared screenshots supporting allegations that Microsoft used its “escort” process to allow an India based engineer to access Government Community Cloud (GCC) systems. The whistleblower alleges the engineer is not a U.S. citizen.
Microsoft’s own published rules state that temporary elevated access to customer content in GCC requires verified U.S. citizenship. The escort model is the workaround the company uses so non-U.S. personnel can still direct the work.
The screenshots show Viraj Chokhany requesting and receiving approval for escort access to view logs in the DPRODMGD151 environment, which is part of Government Community Cloud Moderate — the cloud used by many federal, state, and local agencies.
In the escort process, a U.S. person is supposed to open the system while the India-based engineer guides the work.
The whistleblower believes this raises urgent national security concerns and may violate FedRAMP requirements.
Multiple Microsoft employees have reviewed the screenshots and confirmed they appear authentic. Viraj, has been confirmed to live in India-- Where he also attended and graduated college.
The whistleblower is working on a public statement. I will release the whistleblowers statement when I receive it.

Shortly after the 17-year-old who is the son of an Additional District Judge allegedly drove his father’s car into a scooter in Kochi on October 25, killing 55-year-old street-food vendor Jayabalakrishnan. Initially released on station bail, the teenager was taken into custody again after protests, charged with culpable homicide, and granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. His father has been booked under the Motor Vehicles Act as the car’s registered owner. But is yet to be arrested. The victim’s family alleges lapses in police handling and demands accountability.

I had reported against this driver on October 22nd and today morning he arrives outside my house stating to withdraw the case and that he is stays at Rahamath nagar and is a co-accused in a murder case. How safe are women on Rapido rides? Throughout my journey, the auto driver kept turning his mirror towards me, staring continuously and making inappropriate facial expressions and gestures. When I confronted him at the drop location, he apologised and pleaded with me not to report him, saying he would lose his job.
Women deserve safety, not harassment. What kind of background checks do you conduct before onboarding drivers? I am reporting this incident to the police. Rapido, investigate this seriously.

The accident occurred at around 2:20 AM to 3:00 AM at Cheranalloor in Kochi. A speeding luxury Mercedes-Benz car, registered under the name of the additional judge, rammed into a scooter from behind. The scooter rider, 55-year-old Jayabalakrishnan of Manjali, was killed. He was a local street vendor returning home after closing his wayside eatery (thattukada) near a temple in Chittoor.
The 17-year-old minor, who does not possess a driving license, reportedly took the car out for a night drive. He was speeding at 100km/hr while the crash occured as per reports. The victim's niece JAYALAKSHMI claims that the accused was not shown to them at the police station and Kerala police insisted them to not get emotionally driven by this incident as if this isn't a big loss at all. The father of the 17 year old accused who is a district court judge spoke rudely at the police station asking them not to teach him law as per Jayalakshmi's claim.
The central issue is the loss of a human life. Jayabalakrishnan's family has suffered an irreversible loss, and the circumstances surrounding his death must be investigated thoroughly. The victim and his family deserve justice, while the investigation and any subsequent legal proceedings must establish responsibility on the basis of evidence rather than influence, status or public speculation.
