It's worth noting that New York is 11.6% Jewish. It's 28% Latino 20% non-Hispanic Black 15% Asian. I've never heard it referred to as a Latino, Black, or Asian city, & I've never heard those demographic numbers wielded as a cudgel to defend bad policy.
