Storing data on-chain does not provide encryption, advanced or not. The only connection to encryption is that when you post data publicly you have no illusion that it's private, so you have to use encryption,

I fully agree with @jasonfried's take on this. It's difficult for a CEO or former CEO of #InVision to fully admit the reasons as it implies criticism of self and a leadership team, but when a company goes under, it's almost always 100% responsible for its own demise. #SaaS #B2B

I don't know the whole story, obviously, but if Invision built a company that couldn't handle a competitor, or costs, or a different financial environment, or their VC's expectations, then that's on Invision, not on Figma. Figma is outstanding software, but I'd give Invision the credit for sinking their own ship — most failures are internal. Again, hate to see it happen to anyone, there's no celebration here.
