- APE[x] (formerly just "Apescriptions") FAQs Simian Vector Graphics Introduction to Ethscriptions -- Ethscriptions are distinct from NFTs; they don’t rely on smart contracts for token management as they involve no tokens. Instead, Ethscriptions can be thought of as a receipt or pink slip, transferring ownership of the transaction. -- The image or media is stored in the call data of the transaction, akin to a memo field in a PayPal transaction. --Before Apescriptions, the dominant art form on Ethscriptions was pixel art, owing to its minimal KB footprint, with innovative and notable collections like @ittybits_eth measured in bytes rather than kilobytes! Ethscriptions was Created by @dumbnamenumbers and @michaelhirsch @ethscriptions #Ethscriptions
