"I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one." Hell of a line from @jamestalarico in the rally clip below, commenting on the mind-blowing sum of special interest money being spent on behalf of Ken Paxton, led Elon's more than $150 million.
Talarico: This election is a battle between the powers that be and the powers that ought to be. The powers that be have chosen their candidate. They have bought and paid for Ken Paxton.  But we are standing with the powers that ought to be the teachers and the nurses, the farmers and the ranchers. The grandmother who is facing eviction, the little boy who's waking up in the middle of the night from the lights of the data center, the small business owner, who is struggling to keep his family restaurant open. Those Texans are my team.  They are why I'm in this race. I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one. You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you

This James Talarico ad is brilliant and he’s everything that Texas and this Country needs. He brings a wholesomeness to Politics that we very rarely see.

New Talarico ad running statewide: "Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right. "I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile. "I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

Oh my GOODNESS! I need to start seeing this televised. Aes is correct. As a born and raised Texan, it gave me goosebumps. I think I'll watch it again right now.
This ad is absolutely phenomenal

Watch this video … the best statement ( won’t call it an ad) since Reagan’s “shining city on a hill”
This James Talarico ad is phenomenal. Every Texan needs to watch it.

🚨☣️More details on the Oct 1st pneumonic plague outbreak in Siberia, after a lab accident at a BSL-3 lab. "FSB units accompanying ambulances transporting people who had been in contact with [lab tech] Shipilova for medical examination," as per local news. This is significant. FSB is Russia's domestic security / counterintelligence service, tasked w/implementing the national security of Russia." (Its predecessor was the KGB). This suggests quarantine was not voluntary. It also means Russian authorities are treating the lab accident and plague outbreak as a national security issue, involving a lot more than routine public health.

This is really anxiety producing … hope RFK Jr is on top of this and making preparations
So you mean to tell me we had a pneumonic plague outbreak at Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute which was a central cog of Biopreparat and Russia's Bioweapon development programs Project 5 and Ferment. A site to this day that remains under a shroud of extreme state secrecy. A site that forbids independent oversight, international audits, or foreign inspections. A site whose main task was strain-hunting and sourcing hub for the offensive pipeline. A site whose task was to harvest, isolate, and cataloge highly virulent, naturally occurring wild pathogens—specifically Plague (Yersinia pestis), Anthrax, Tularemia, and Brucellosis. Of these the most aggressive, lethal, and climate resilient strains discovered by Irkutsk were forwarded directly to the centralized Biopreparat network to be genetically engineered for antibiotic resistance and weaponized. Well fuck.

Put whoever’s writing Jon Ossoff’s speeches in charge of the DNC
Ossoff: He’s trying to put his face on the money. He's building a monument to himself . But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now because no one will honor him when he’s gone… because he's a failed president and a national disgrace.

If the United States survives as a single country (and that is not a given), it will take a long time to return to regular order
Replying to @SarahLongwell25
One of the downstream consequences of pretending that Trump was ever fit to be president is that the GOP is training its voters to want unserious performers and conspiracy theorists (as Trump was/is) to play a serious role in American politics and that should scare us all.

STUNNING: Trump is now bragging about agreeing to use Iran’s 10-point peace framework as the basis for negotiations. Here’s what that 10-point framework includes. There’s no other way to spin this—it’s complete and utter capitulation.

The big winners seem to be Stephanie Rhule, Ali Velshi, and Alicia Menendez …I think Alicia is the new Nicole
This morning, @MSNOWNews announced a slate of programming changes across the lineup as we gear up for the midterms and the 2028 presidential election. We’ve started the year with viewership up double digits across every key daypart in total viewers and in the demo. These moves further strengthen our position. 🔽 hollywoodreporter.com/busine…

Don’t let them define you first… keep defining yourself by exposing the billionaires
.@JamesTalarico: They’re scared of the movement we are building. They’re gonna throw everything they have at us. They’re gonna call me a ‘radical leftist.’ They’re going to call me a ‘fake Christian.’ They’ll call our movement un-Texan and un-American. They’ll call us a threat. The only truth is — we are a threat. We’re a threat to their corrupt system.
