🚨SOLANA CO-FOUNDER SAYS IT JUST CLEARED A BIG QUANTUM HURDLE!
Solana Labs co-founder @toly said the biggest post-quantum constraint is now gone. He said builders can put three PQC signers, each on a different scheme, into one multisig smart wallet and rotate the schemes as the implementations mature.
That follows SIMD-0296 going live on mainnet today as Transaction V1, lifting the size cap from 1,232 bytes to 4,096.

🪙 Stablecoin Issuance: the EMI license allows MoonPay to issue stablecoins, which enables MoonPay to enter the euro-denominated stablecoins market
💪 Open Loop Stablecoins: this also places MoonPay among a small group of Dutch-based companies that can issue open loop stablecoins from the Netherlands
🔥 the EMI license makes MoonPay the third Netherlands-based company to hold both a MiCA Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) authorization and an EMI license within a single entity
🥇 MoonPay is the first of these companies to combine both licenses in one entity while also holding open-loop stablecoin issuance capabilities, giving us broader options from the Netherlands than others in this category
📖 MoonPay was also one of the first companies to obtain a MiCAR CASP license, back in 2024, giving us one of the longest track records of any stablecoin issuer operating under Europe's regulatory framework

None of us knew then that these pixelated Monkes would bring so many people together, or that the community around them would eventually become @MonkeDAO.
Since then, we’ve shared the highs, weathered the lows, laughed through more chaos than we could ever fit into one post, and watched Solana grow as we grew alongside it.
Five years later, we’re still here - connected by friendships that began behind a PFP, shared memories, and a global community that slowly became home.
