Every once in a while I get asked what other resources I recommend for AP econ exam prep. If you need something more extensive than a review booklet, 5 Steps does a great job.
Finished adding explanation videos for the newer #APMacro FRQs. Hopefully they can help kids understand the logic behind the rubrics.
Good luck prepping your kids for this year's exam!

2024 is on track to be an extraordinary year for the economy (and US stocks).
Here are 3 key points that show how incredible it is.
1) The US is defying expectations.
Inflation has fallen all the way back to 2.4% without a recession. Growth is strong & unemployment is still very low.

Wowza: HUGE jobs report.
September payrolls grew +254k, well above expectations.
August payrolls revised up +17k to +159k, and July revised up +55k to +144k.
Unemployment fell to 4.1%
This economic expansion that is motoring along.
ReviewEcon is having a DDOS attack right now. My host is working to get it under control. ReviewEcon might be a bit slow/wonky for a bit. A refresh as needed seems to fix things.
My apologies!

JUST IN: Strong growth in Q2. The US economy grew at a 2.8% pace in Q2 2024. That’s way above expectations of 1.9% and a big jump from 1.4% in Q1.
Consumer spending was the key (+2.3% in the quarter). Biz investment and gov't spending also helped.
Bottom line: The economy keeps powering on
