For those who missed it, last month an Italian company called Bending Spoons listed.
It's an interesting company in that they buy smaller, as well as older apps and tech and then improve them from a cost and efficiency point of view.
They however don't sell it, but rather keep it. So, you end up with a portfolio of renewed apps that were bought cheaply but comes with existing data and users.
They currently own names such as:
AOL
Vimeo
Evernote
WeTransfer
Eventbrite
Remini
They are also in the process to acquire Airtable.
Cool example of the new economy.
AI agentic Internet traffic will obviously VASTLY exceed human usage. Not a close call at all.
Cloudflare’s forecast is accurate.
For context, Global bandwidth is somewhere between 2-8 Pbps (2,000-8,000 Tbps) depending on if your measuring fiber public backhaul (like international fiber) or all public and private connections.
100,000 V3 Starlinks equals 100 Pbps 10x-50x the total bandwidth available today. If Starlinks V4s are 5x more capable we are looking at 50x-250x more bandwidth than world has today over the next 10 years.
This may sounds like a supply shock but remember ~2B people don’t have regular access to the internet today, and we are connecting robots (digital and physical agents) to the internet at an accelerating pace. Distributed sensor data collection (on and off planet) is growing. On top of that individual internet usage does steadily increasing.
In 10 years we’re probably going to move two orders of magnitude more information per second around than we do today.

To the world today, Nelson Mandela is a hero exalted as a legend. But to the people of South Africa, he was Madiba, a leader who fought for justice even when the tides of the present were turned swiftly against it. To honor Madiba’s legacy is to fight injustice before history rewrites itself.
Sam Altman: "You can identify founders who have a chance at creating a $10 billion company. With practice."
Then he shared the experiment that proved it. YC funded 20 teams of strong founders without ideas.
All 20 failed.
> real founders generate new ideas every week, not one big one
> execution speed between meetings predicts success better than anything on paper
> a founder improving fast over 2 months he's been right ~10/10 times on this signal
> the core four: obsession, focus, frugality, love
everyone screens for intelligence. almost nobody screens for slope.
which one would you bet on?
