Water is VERY IMPORTANT for cats -- especially with today's dangerously high temperature. When caring for community cats -- in addition to food -- provide fresh water. The bowls should get at least a rinse every day. The little guy got tired while waiting and went and took a cat nap! – – – Metro Cat Rescue coordinates the volunteer care of many outdoor cats in a number of colonies. We’re working hard to bring some inside to socialize and to place in good homes. This takes lots of time, space and money. Please do support Metro Cat Rescue! All too often I've had to spend my own grocery money to make sure that the cats were well fed. If Metro Cat Rescue had better facilities and a used SUV or van for transportation, there's so much more that we could do. gofundme.com/f/help-metro-ca… Metro Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3). EIN Assigned: 82-0701118. Donations, gifts, and bequests are US tax deductible. You can also check if your employer has a corporate matching gift program. Take a look at the Metro Cat Rescue Facebook Page facebook.com/MetroCatRescue/ and our Web Site: MetroCatRescue.com and you'll see just some of the many cats that we've helped. Giving any amount will be a huge help. Unfortunately, right now we have no idea what our funding will be next month — or even next week. Helping to make it possible for Metro Cat Rescue to plan for the future will mean so many more kittens and cats will be saved. Many hours are spent each day feeding, washing bowls, providing worm medicine and laundering the cats' beds. So that Metro Cat Rescue can do more, we need your help! We've run out of space to take in any additional cats. And there's the time -- with the kittens and moms that we have here now, the day starts at 6am and ends at 11pm. Metro Cat Rescue needs a bigger and better space. We also need the funds to hire someone -- at least -- part time to help with the chores. Metro Cat Rescue has no cushion of dedicated funds for medical care. As it stands now, for each and every vet visit -- standard checkups and neutering, too, not just emergencies -- has to be paid for by pleading for help on Facebook. This sometimes means that a sick cat suffers for days waiting for medical attention. Metro Cat Rescue is in DIRE need of support! EVERY day we get requests that we don't have the resources to assist with. This means that kittens are born in the street because no one helps us to help them. PLEASE DONATE! gofundme.com/f/help-metro-ca… Take a look at the Photos here on the Metro Cat Rescue Facebook Page and you'll see just some of the many cats that we've helped. facebook.com/MetroCatRescue/ The dream of Metro Cat Rescue is to establish a facility to provide care for homeless kittens and cats with easily treated but contagious conditions -- those innocents that now elsewhere regularly are made to die. Sadly, a lack of funds has kept Metro Cat Rescue's goal on a distant horizon. Without the necessary resources, each day there are poor moms and babies that we can't help. Indeed, last summer, there was a dip in donations and adoptions. I would not let the cats go hungry, so I scraped by eating little more than bread, rice and beans myself. Metro Cat Rescue needs your help! We are DROWNING in bills for food, medical costs and supplies. Click on the Link to DONATE. If everyone reading this gave SOMETHING, we’d be well on the way to providing for homeless cats that now need to fend for themselves. THANK YOU!
