one of the most incredible timelapses i have ever produced--rare november thunderstorms, rare november snow, bitter cold, AND gorgeous auroras all in the span of FIVE DAYS and in ONE TIMELAPSE! (trimmed some)
note the trees quickly losing leaves, gravity waves, and more!
is this a safe space to admit that when i was 8/9 i genuinely thought he was real and was going to Get me
for months i slept with the covers over my head. i did made a great playground game out of it though

October 19, 2005:
Hurricane Wilma peaked as a Category 5 in the western Caribbean Sea.
The storm's central pressure bottomed-out at 882 millibars, making it the strongest hurricane on record in the Atlantic Ocean. Wilma took only a day to go from 70 to 175 mph.

i love finally figuring myself out and starting to medicate in my senior fucking year of college

We tried protesting like the French in 2020 but they called us savages for tearing up a cvs. Then jan 6 happened and pardons were given for actual treason. Point blank period is that until white people start tearing up shit nothing will change lmao.
year ago today - the first day of a fun weekend mini-trip to some places i had previously never been to before

also bonus: after this we saw two people in frog costumes on a bridge for seemingly no reason at all, we were so confused we just started laughing hysterically
a very fun trip up to Mt. Mitchell!
plentiful peak fall colors, unexpected RIME ICE and SNOW (shattering my record of the earliest snow i've seen in the fall/winter), tons of clouds and wind, freezing our butts off, and more not pictured
we were going to go all the way to the Parkway's most famous viaduct, but a road closure meant we'd spend much longer driving there and back than expected
and since we were already exhausted after visiting the highest peak east of the Mississippi (Mt. Mitchell, lol), we decided to turn around. sad, but still saw some incredible sights
similar trip next weekend? π
