You cannot understand the immigration issues in Europe and the U.S., nor the Israel-Hamas war, without understanding Islam. The Quran divides the world into two groups: the House of Islam, and the House of War. To Muslims, there is only one option for those who refuse to submit to Islam: war. Muslims are commanded to subjugate or kill non-believers. And they are commanded to lie in order to advance the cause of Islam. You may not like these ideas, but your opinions of them are irrelevant. What matters is that the vast majority of the world's Muslims believe them. Hence the observation that if Hamas laid down their weapons, there would be no more war, whereas if Israel laid down their weapons, there would be no more Israel. Muslims cannot accept any outcome except the conversion or annihilation of every nation. Which is why they've launched 66,872 documented terrorist attacks since 9/11. Jihad is not a fringe element of Islam; it is the core doctrine.

War is hell. Casualties are tragic. And the government should not be robbing us to fund foreign wars. But we should also not let ourselves be manipulated by war propaganda. In WWII, the Jewish population of Poland went from 3,000,000 to 45,000: a 98% reduction. That's genocide. The Gaza population in the current Israel-Hamas war went from 2.2M to 2.13M: a 3% reduction. That's not genocide. Israel has sufficient ordnance to annihilate everything and everyone in Gaza in a matter of days, if not hours. If genocide were their intent, they would do it. But they don't. Instead, they allow massive amounts of aid into Gaza, even though much of it is stolen by Hamas. They give advance notice of missile strikes so civilians can evacuate, even though this also allows enemy soldiers to escape. They paused their attacks on Hamas in order to let half a million Palestinian kids get polio vaccines. These are not the actions of a nation with genocidal intent.
