Glad and relieved this is finally out in the world, 3 years after our Manila conference on Governing Complex Disasters in Southeast Asia.

By way of diplomatic language, you can please easily leave Manila and go back to China.
We do not need foreign guests in the form of arrogant, condescending diplomats.
On a scale of lumalangoy sa baha nang nakangiti to umiinom ng filtered water mula sa imburnal, how "resilient" are you/we?
Sana may presscon din on what government is doing to protect our watersheds.
‘MALINIS PO ‘YUNG TUBIG’
Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro drink filtered water from “jerry can,” a pail with a filtration system, on Wednesday.
“Malinis po ‘yung tubig,” Castro said.
“It is like drinking any drinking water,” Gatchalian added.

“LET US REMOVE THE ‘KAWAWA NAMAN ANG VP’ SYNDROME”
Atty. Lorna Kapunan rejected the defense team’s portrayal of Vice President Sara Duterte as a victim, saying the Filipino people are the true victims of Duterte’s use of public funds as she pleased without accountability.
“Hindi puwedeng sabihin na she has not been given the opportunity to present herself,” Kapunan added.
The prosecution on Tuesday dropped three articles of impeachment against her, leaving only Article II on the unexplained wealth. #VPonTrial

Friendly reminder that walking is a legitimate workout. The only reason it gets downplayed is because big fitness hasn't found a way to package, brand, and sell you outdoor air yet.
Bakit kailangang may halong insulto? Pwede namang magclarify without adding fuel to the fire. Asking for transparency, urgency, and accountability in addressing a dire situation is not being obstructionist. It's what good citizens do.

We will not survive super El Nino with balde & cloud seeding alone.
We need a proper long term heat adaptation strategies eg higher tree cover per capita, passive cooling of public buildings, heat health. DRRM plans should include extreme heat, not simply typhoons & earthquakes
| via Jonathan Andal/GMA News

BREAKING: New maps show Earth almost entirely in the red 🔴
El Niño continues at "maximum power" into the winter with planetary heating dialed up everywhere EXCEPT the United States.
Colder than normal in February --> massive "snow dumps" and sloppy ice storms. Wow!

See, this is what we want robots for. Clean waterways, sweep streets, etc.
A robot is cleaning rivers completely autonomously. 🌊
Meet Hebao H3, an autonomous surface-cleaning boat developed by Dongfang Water.
Using onboard AI vision and GPS, it can detect and collect floating waste such as plastic bags, bottles and leaves while avoiding obstacles.
When its collection bin is full, the H3 can automatically return to its base.
Would you trust robots to keep our rivers clean? 👀
