Anthony Key had a strong showing during the NXT Pro 16 Live Period in Richmond, Virginia, showcasing his ability to impact the game in multiple areas for FAM Elite (TX). The 2028 6’8” wing brings a combination of size, skill, and athleticism that allows him to create advantages on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Key showed the ability to do a little bit of everything. He used his size and skill set to create scoring opportunities, attacking closeouts, handling the ball, and making plays from different spots on the floor. His ability to put the ball on the floor and get downhill allowed him to pressure the defense, while his shooting ability forced defenders to respect him on the perimeter. Key’s scoring ability allowed him to stay involved throughout the game and impact possessions in different ways. He showed the ability to knock down shots from the outside, attack from the perimeter, use his size around the basket, and take advantage of mismatches when given opportunities. He also rebounded the ball well, using his size and length to secure possessions and create additional opportunities for his team. Defensively, Key’s length and size gave him the ability to impact multiple positions. He competed on the perimeter, used his physical tools to bother opposing players, and showed the ability to make plays with his activity and effort. His ability to contribute on both ends of the floor added value throughout the event. Key’s combination of size, skill, and all-around impact made him a difficult matchup at the wing position. His performance in Richmond highlighted his ability to contribute as a scorer and defender while impacting the game in multiple areas. @anthonykey_24
