BBAC Group 2 Spotlight: Another World
@anotherworldgg has been building a 3D virtual Ready-Player-One-like digital world aiming to promote web3 commerce and entertainment that is quite literally out of this world.
Their founder, @JackieLeeETH, is no stranger to crafting next-level gaming experiences as an Unreal Engine alumni so we’re pumped to support his and his team’s innovative vision with Another World. See what they had to say about their journey, the future, and what they have in store for the BBAC grant they will receive.
When did you join the APE ecosystem?
“Our founder @JackieLeeETH got his first mutant ape on the day MAYC came out and has been in the APE ecosystem building 3D game/metaverse prototypes.”
What inspired you to start this business?
“Jackie would like to have ApeFest 24/7 and wanted to have a virtual swamp place to meet with other apes in a digital world. After a few prototypes, Another World was born in the ETH Global Hackathon in SF 2022 and received ApeCoinDAO's top1 hackathon prize.”
What will the BBAC grant help your business achieve?
“We'd like to use this grant to bring more apes into Another World and prepare them for the OtherSide. For example, we may be able to provide 3D templates for apes to build up their virtual stores using MML and Unreal Engine 5.”
What do you most want the community to know about you/your business?
“We've been imagining apes living inside the metaverse. While it's not easy to build up this digital world, we'd love apes to jump into Another World and give us feedback periodically.”
If you want to take a peek into the future and see what it’s like to live in the metaverse, be sure to check them out at anotherworld.gg/ - you won’t be disappointed
