Cracks me up to see the Texas ban on thc products, meanwhile Austin just hosted the trade show for vape shops where 13-OH and 15-OH and ketamine tablets for sale. 🙄 This goes on in every state with smoke shops..glad the dea is so worried for public safety

“Researchers administered a novel 50:1 CBD to THC cannabis oil, with a total daily dose of 8mg THC and 400mg CBD to 120 late-stage dementia patients. The cohort was made up of 55% females and had a mean age of 80.5, and all were eligible for care within a hospice.”
Nearly 9 in 10 patients with late-stage dementia improved after 12 weeks of treatment with cannabis.

What if CBD + olives created a super anti-inflammatory?
In this research, they created a new "hybrid" molecule by chemically linking two natural substances:
Cannabidiol (CBD) — the non-mind-altering compound from cannabis/hemp plants that's already known to help calm inflammation.
Oleoside — a compound found in olive trees (Olea europaea), related to health-boosting substances in olives and olive leaves.
Early test results show the new CBD-oleoside combined molecule works really well — it blocks 5-LOX much more effectively than the originals alone.

California is going broke subsidizing free healthcare for illegal immigrants, and now the bill is coming due. @DrOzCMS and the Trump administration have audited the books and found that California improperly claimed over $1 billion in federal Medicaid funds to cover non-emergency care for illegal immigrants (money that federal law never authorized).
CMS told California it owes the federal government $2 billion and has already successfully recouped half of it.

The FDA was blinded by the schedule 1 status, maybe if they review or actually do studies about the positive medical benefits of cannabis it’ll open their eyes. 🙄

Big surprise for seniors: Smoking cannabis actually improved word memory recall!
60 minutes after smoking, people were slower on "connect-the-dots" style tests (Trail Making Test A and B) that measure attention and mental flexibility.
People actually remembered a higher percentage of words in a memory recall test after cannabis. This seemed to happen because their normal decline in performance during the test was reduced. 👈
THC levels in the blood didn’t clearly predict how well or poorly people performed on the tests.

Medical cannabis is progressing steadily across the United States in 2026!
Medical cannabis is now available in 42 States, while the Federal government still maintains cannabis has no medical value.
South Dakota just reported a massive 62% year-over-year increase in approved medical cannabis cards. This is driven by greater awareness, more qualifying conditions, easier access (like South Dakota’s new digital cards), and growing physician acceptance.
Other strong growth examples: • Utah surpassed 100,000 registered cards in 2025 • Louisiana reached approximately 53,000 patients by early 2025 • New Jersey continues adding thousands of new patients.
New programs are also launching and expanding: • Alabama finally opened its first medical dispensaries in 2026 after years of delays • Nebraska is moving toward first harvests possibly this fall • Texas is expanding its Compassionate Use Program with additional licenses.
Ballot initiatives and legislative efforts continue in holdout states like Idaho (active signature drive for 2026 ballot), South Carolina, and Kansas.
