Why?
…does this keep happening?
…do we keep doing this?
…are we not lifting each other up?
On the daily, it’s something else that tries to tear this hobby community apart. I’m not saying we need to agree on everything, but we shouldn’t have to put up with ridicule and insults. I stay out of the drama because it’s not in my DNA or interest, but I see it happening everyday.
Last I checked, we were all adults and humans. We all have feelings and personalities that will clash with each other. But I encourage all of us to do one thing, talk to each other in private and don’t air everything publicly. There has been to much pettiness lately that it’s frankly, pretty disgusting. And it’s happening more frequently and I’m not sure if it’s deliberate or not.
This isn’t about #RAKoftheDAY, but it was built out of negativity and disturbing behavior. But I feel now that I have a platform, I need to utilize it a little more and better than I have in the past.
I won’t change for anyone, and would appreciate that you don’t either. But we can all do better for each other and this community.
