DAPPCRAFT TO BUILD DECENTRALAND DAO HQ We’re excited to build the @DecentralandDAO Headquarters after our bid successfully passed the voting phase on the governance platform and reached the required threshold. decentraland.org/governance/… We are grateful to the @decentraland community for this opportunity, and appreciate the support of voters and extremely valuable community feedback. The DAO HQ will be a central hub for Decentraland governance and community events. It will be a place where people can come together, discuss and connect. We are committed to creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The HQ will be designed to be a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. Our concept involves establishing a DAO hub complete with a park and gamified experiences, designed to encourage existing DAO members & entice new ones. The Architecture and Style are inspired by the legacy of the American futurist Jacques Fresco and his “Venus Project”. The system of nodes/modules symbolizes decentralization and a large number of windows symbolizes transparency. On a total land area of 100 parcels, two levels will be placed. The lower level with Park and Interactive zones and the upper level with Modules, including Auditorium, Meeting Rooms, Help center, Historical Museum and others. The Park level will be a modern interpretation of the European regular royal parks such as Versailles. It’s going to be an Open space, full of fantastic plants, green labyrinths, fancy art objects and interactive zones. The DAO HQ will be packed with a number of useful features. Streaming Infrastructure - a streaming server with admin panel access for uploading videos, streaming with OBS/re-stream functionality. Dynamic boards will show real-time DAO data, event schedules, social media feeds, and announcements, integrated with Discord, Google Calendar, and analytics tools. You’ll be able to immerse yourself in the lifeblood of the DAO through a vibrant park where sparkling trees, flying energy spheres, and ancient runes reveal the community's financial pulse and grant activity, as forms of DAO data visualization. dApps integration - In-World voting and gamification by turning proposals into in-world tasks with a quest-like UI. Marketplace integration - Dispensers with wearables from the Marketplace will be placed and divided by tags: Newest, Trending, Just listed e.t.c.
