Such an honor and grateful moment to visit @nasa Glenn Research Center and deliver a technical talk on our work for understanding the material flammability in Lunar gravity. Talk was well received with insightful questions and discussions.

The attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Aurora is horrifying and a chilling reminder of the growing threat of hate and extremism. I stand with @CongressmanRaja and the Hindu American community.
We need a full federal investigation into this attack. No one should ever have to choose between practicing their faith and fearing for their safety.

What nearly happened at a Hindu temple in Illinois is appalling. No American should ever fear for their life simply because of their faith or heritage.
Today, I joined my House India Caucus co-chair @RepRoKhanna in calling on the DOJ and FBI to thoroughly investigate this disturbing plot, address the growing threats against Hindu and Indian Americans, and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
Religious freedom is a fundamental American right. Hatred and violence have no place in our nation.

As Co-Chair of the US India Caucus, I'm joining @RepMcCormick in calling on the DOJ and FBI to investigate this as a potential federal hate crime and hold those responsible accountable.
The attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois is horrifying. Every American deserves to worship without fear.

Felt the same today!
The contrast between hanging up the last phone call of the day of high-stakes decisions and then a minute later walking in the door to the pure love of small children who want to laugh and play and show you every discovery they made that day is the strangest and best thing I have ever experienced in life.

For 20+ years @ShaneLegg and I've discussed AGIβs potential impact on the economy, science & society. With the DeepMind Institute, we're expanding interdisciplinary research on key questions for the AI era. We hope it spurs the discussions needed to get the next steps right: deepmind.google/institute

Dario's essay points towards the right path forward. The details need working through, but the direction is correct for meeting this critical moment.
This is also why we recently put out our proposal for an industry-wide standards body for frontier AI. xitter.cf/demishassabis/status/2β¦
We Must Pace the Frontier: Iβve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. Weβll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess modelsβ alignment during training.

With AlphaFold we mapped the protein universe - now with AlphaGenome Atlas weβre charting the human genome. It can predict the impact of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA variants, helping scientists better understand disease. Freely available for academic research: alphagenome.google/atlas
I never imagined I would see this in my lifetime, AGI is here ?
Weβre sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

Social media is designed to maximize one thing: engagement. The thing that drives engagement best is anger and fear β we simply cannot look away. What happens when the very technology that allows us to have large-scale public conversations and allows democracy to flourish turns us against each other?

Indiaβs exemplary GDP growth of 7.8% during Q1 of FY 2026-27 is a herculean feat.
The collective strength of our people ensured India delivered such growth despite oil price shocks and supply chain issues in the midst of global uncertainties.
Doomsayers were doomed and India bloomedβ¦yet again!

Orbiting over wavy green auroras! Moments like these are some of the most surreal in spaceflight. What a view!

Einstein once wondered:
βHow is it possible that mathematics, a product of human
thought that is independent of experience, fits so excellently the objects of physical reality?β
These images still look surreal, Amazing journey!
Happy 14th Marsiversary, Curiosity!
Today marks 14 years (and close to 5000 sols!) since Curiosity's dramatic drop through Mars's thin atmosphere and its safe arrival on the planet's surface! Since its landing, Curiosity has explored more than 23 miles of terrain, and found evidence of past habitable environments!

ALT NASA's Curiosity Mars rover used two different cameras to create this selfie in front of Mont Mercou, a rock outcrop that stands 20 feet (6 meters) tall. The panorama is made up of 60 images taken by the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) on the rover's robotic arm on March 26, 2021, combined with 11 images taken by the Mastcam on the mast, or "head," of the rover on March 16, 2021.

Iβll never forget this sight. Tonight I saw my first aurora from space. Luckily, there is a video to help remember and captured it perfectly. The KP index was over 5 tonight because of a solar event and the sky over Australia lit up and the green snaked across the atmosphere. I was filled with awe and gratitude. Itβs a beautiful planet we share.
This has to be one of the most incredible pictures

I finally have all 1.2 million raw image files from my latest mission to ISS! Here is a sample of one of my favorite Milky Way photos, taken from the Cupola with Nikon Z9, Arri Zeiss 15mm lens, T1.8 with custom sidereal drive that cancelled out star motion relative to our orbit.
