I know it's Friday afternoon, but I can't sit on this any longer. I've been chipping away for months at writing an open letter and setting up an online petition for complex illness care in Canada. It's obvious this is such a widespread issue, and we really need a coordinated effort to improve care cross-country. I'm still putting finishing touches on the open letter, but in the meantime, the petition is now live - you can start signing and circulating it now! I'd love to get a lot of signatures quickly and be able to append it to the open letter when I send it to government and media, and hope it'll get some decent traction. For now, the main demand is to set up a network of complex illness clinics as the ultimate goal, but to provide a plan in the interim to care for us. And generally raise awareness about this, so that we can continue to follow up around our specific conditions.
