This says it all about the unreasonable expectations from some people, @DeanEggitt - they literally think they are owed an instant response on social media, let alone in real life, and are not shy of making demands despite being completely ignorant of the reality.

He’s not the prime Minister in Paris, Sharon.

Completely wrong, I’m afraid. Constantly reviewing your own practice is the cornerstone of professionalism and you simply cannot do that without the notes. Wider clinical review is a separate (and also necessary) process, additional to, not instead of, reflection.

Every day, somebody comes up with another stupid idea to make our jobs harder, less efficient, and more painful, for no possible benefit or reason, and then later has the temerity to ask why healthcare is hard, inefficient, slow and painful.

It doesn’t, but there was - albeit as part of a larger trend of suicides in general falling across the 90s and early 2000s

I agree about absolutes, but I suspect some of the difference here is about terminology - the concept “maintenance” has often encouraged persisting / recurrent fluids long after any deficit is corrected, and that is harmful. I don’t think that invalidates all slow IVF everywhere.

Whilst there are no absolutes in medicine, IV fluids as commonly used are often unhelpful and sometimes harmful in both of those settings.

Of course it is D. With AEP you go to the luxury top tier Safari in Zambias South Luangwa, then Vic Falls, Okavango, then Namib desert then Cape Town.

While the idea of the paranoid faithfuls banishing each other is fun, the game already has this in the final (if there’s a faithful win, they may banish other faithfuls after the last traitor), and it would sap all the tension for the viewer for however many weeks it happened.

Fascinating that you pre-emptively label criticism of your offensive comments as “discriminating against you”. Essentially trying to classify any disagreement with you as illegitimate.

Don’t forget to ask it to add a weird modern soundtrack nobody would put in a kids fantasy movie already scored by John Williams.

I really really hope they are pets, not children. Partly because of “taking them” and partly because one of them is called Bug.

Well, if you wouldn’t bother to hand over an acidotic hyperviscotic elder with creatinine of nearly two thousand (20 in American money converts to like 1800 ish) then… well we definitely know what sort of ED you work in.

I mean, that’s insane isn’t it, as well as impossible for 1/3 of them (stormont due to the GFA). It wouldn’t work as a strategy either for the tories (not enough English people would care, instantly burn their slow recovery in Scotland) or for the UK/unionism (same reasons)

Buddy, literally three tweets ago you claimed you weren’t completely ignorant about the conflict, then you said this. Which is it?

Photon-counting CT is changing what we can see in the heart and lungs — and we're looking for a fellow to help lead that. We are recruiting a Clinical Research Fellow in at the Royal Brompton Hospital to work with our two photon counting CTs dedicated to cardiothoracic imaging.
