Excited to be in Geelong for the Local Word festival at @geelonglibrary Here for @musicandmemoir & Into Your Arms: Songs of Nick Cave reimagined @FremantlePress #LocalWord24
Mark Smith mentioned the writing workshops he’d done with prisoners at Marngoneet Correctional Centre. The project was funded by @geelonglibrary and the published stories are available to download on @BorrowBox through Geelong Libraries #LocalWord24
Rhett Davis reads his story inspired by ‘Straight to You’ from Into Your Arms: Nick Cave’s Songs Reimagined at #LocalWord24 at @geelonglibrary
Thank you Sarah. This feedback sort of makes it all worthwhile.
@angsavage just visited our @RMIT_PWE class and it was magical. I’ve been panicking about not writing while working on Sunder/other projects.

‘Make sure you have an exciting life and then you’ve got something to draw on’ - Julie Janson’s advice to young would-be writers #MilduraWF2024
Julie Janson at #MilduraWF2024 describes her mother bringing pramloads of books home from the #PublicLibrary. She also discovered plays at the library, inspiring her to write for the theatre #LibrariesChangeLives
