So I started a polymer clay sculpting youtube channel. And I’m creating characters with @elevenlabs to narrate them. Here’s my latest - in the style of a late night show in the 1950s: youtu.be/VnU_0SLuPbI?si=VBaE…

I wrote about the two Ds without mentioning the two Ds. And it has a pun. What more do you want? linkedin.com/pulse/stamping-…

People I know who have investment portfolios, what platform do you use?

I can’t take emails from the bank seriously when they use the word "fraudster". For some reason I put that word in the same bucket as scallywag and rotter.

I’ve been using Chat GPT as a sparring partner while I explore the characters and story of a children’s story I’m building towards writing. I don’t ask it for ideas. I share thoughts/snippets and get it to ask me questions, do recaps and bounce details. It’s been amazing...

I’ve had to (gently) ask it to stop doing that. Also, I found myself adjusting how I said something to it because I didn’t want to offend it 😂

Most importantly, I’ve made more progress on the story in one week than I previously had in 6 months. It’s an incredible tool for breaking through writer’s block.

Thinking of installing some Harry Potter style moving paintings of the prospective clients that have ghosted me over the years. Phantoms of the no-reply. I’ll just stare round at the walls of my office whispering "why?" as I choke down my morning coffee.

Help. What’s that phrase that (basically) says that all companies/people/products evolve towards the optimum? I.e. UX patterns / companies start to look the same because they copy what’s successful

I turned a palindromic age today, so the urge to write a palindrome about it was too strong to resist. (Don’t worry I’m not as depressed as it makes me sound 😂) Time. Mr A lately raw. E.g. as uses are tired. Now on 44! No wonder it erases us, age. Wary, let alarm emit.

Yes. ChatGPT is the ultimate 'Not this'
Idea: Before writing an essay, have ChatGPT write one on the same topic to show you what would be the conventional thing to say, so you can avoid saying that.

Cautiously dipping a toe back into Twitter. Muting lavishly.

Quick one: I’ve signed up to post.news, created by the founder of Waze. He’s trying to build what some of us wish Twitter would have become. Currently buggy but feels like the good old Internet right now. You can find me by the same handle, @andywhitlock. Bye!

I think that’s it for me. Deleted twitter from my phone. Signing off. You can find me on Linkedin where the CEO is not a massive twat dominating the feed with idiotic and dangerous words. Bye (at least for now)

Sunday read: on BrewDog's problem being hubris more than hypocrisy, the nihilism of the 'if it works, it works' defence, and the purposeful path that leads to Sam Bankman-Fried in the Bahamas and Elizabeth Holmes behind bars. nickasbury.substack.com/p/go…

Critics have been following Tesla’s autopilot failures keenly for years. Little did they know that Musk’s biggest car crash would be at Twitter. Thank you, thanks very much. Please try the veal.

Cool. I’m sure there won’t be any issues with that.
