Well the @Keurig coffee maker shit the bed this morning. It made mine, but no more. Sounds like a relay died. Thankfully, we have other coffee brewing methods…just none the wife’s a fan of.
Parenting 102…
Oldest made honor band 2nd chair and moves on to all state round 2. Proud dad? Of course. Kiddo is pissed so he’s laser focusing on round 2 auditions by practicing extra. Maybe he did learn something…
Parenting 101…
Lucas had his audition today for honor band and all state. He’s a very talented musician, and to this point has been *very* successful. He feels this audition didn’t go well. He didn’t put the work in, so I wonder if he’ll learn that lesson for next year. Sigh.

Welp, yesterday was a blast. Spent 8hr at the ER with the wife for sever lower left abdominal pain. After all the fluid tests and a CT scan, the doc came back with inconclusive results and sent us on our way. We’ll be hanging out at home today to reset.

Subtle hints to the oldest to finish the yard = me gettin pissed and just finishing it myself. Good thing I was gonna sweat outside for a cigar anyways.
