This week the programming community learnt a very important lesson. Everyone was worried about the internet filling with AI generated slop software, but what happened was AI found all the human generated slop software already running most of the internet! 😂

People seem shocked that the author of Clean Code doesn't read code anymore. But that should not be surprising.
Why did I write Clean Code? What is the goal of keeping code clean? To get it out of the way of the real job -- thinking.
I wonder if Hyprland's stance on "Please do NOT use AI to report bugs" will weaken with @OmarchyLinux / @dhh sponsorship?
I have a bug with their Lua API and dpms dispatcher, but I didn't find/diagnose it, Claude did. I won't report it as they ask, I've worked around it. Shame..

Use of AI coding agents isn’t vibe coding if you are an experienced developer. It’s just a tool that helps you build products faster.
It’s only vibe coding if you a)don’t know code or b)don’t check (and push back) on the generated code.
Outside of that it’s a tool, a boost.

Just been advised by @HisenseUK on a call to support that it's not legal to record a phone call with them. Even though calls are recorded from their end. Zero understanding of UK law (one party consent), zero logic (the call is already recorded) and zero customer service! 🤯
