Andy Compton was a guitar player in a metal band that entered the wrong tent at a festival and heard #deephouse for the first time. After 50 albums and authoring that warm, lush sound of the '00s with The Rurals, he tells his story in the new 5 Mag 5mag.us/5mag216

Today hundreds of incredibly brave animal lovers took direct action in the name of Animal Rising to protect the horses at Aintree.
Supporters managed to get onto the track and delay proceedings, making headlines around the world. Subsequently, people all over the UK are having conversations RIGHT NOW about animal rights and our relationship with animals and nature. Our aim was always to start this conversation and we are glad that it is finally happening.
Today's action was just the beginning. On Monday at 7pm we will be hosting an open zoom call where you can hear all about what comes next for Animal Rising, as we continue the mission towards animal freedom, FOR ALL LIFE!
Register for the call now and find out how you can get involved with the Summer of Animal Rising.

BP’s quarterly profits have soared to £6,900,000,000 at the same time as energy bills are set to rocket to nearly £4,000 a year.
This is no coincidence: Your sky-high bills are their record profits.
It’s a system rigged to put their greed before your need.
