For anyone who doubts the importance of empathy in a great military leader, he is Eisenhower while giving speech to veterans in 1952 and discussing those who died under his command on D-Day:

Another record-high for US manufacturing construction spending, and significant upward revisions to data from prior months!
The US is on pace to build $100B of computer manufacturing facilities this year, mostly for semiconductor production in the wake of the CHIPS Act

1/ Incredibly easy to make something cool with LLMs, but hard to make something robust and consumable by end users.

AI - as ignorants call it - is actually machine learning - it is 100% dependent on the data model it is fed therefore AI is currently compromised.

Today’s launch proved Relativity’s 3D-printed rocket technologies that will enable our next vehicle, Terran R. We successfully made it through Max-Q, the highest stress state on our printed structures. This is the biggest proof point for our novel additive manufacturing approach. Today is a huge win, with many historic firsts. We also progressed through Main Engine Cutoff and Stage Separation. We will assess flight data and provide public updates over the coming days. #GoodLuckHadFun

I recommend talking to the model to explore what it can help you best with. Try out how it works for your use case and probe it adversarially. Think of edge cases.
Don't rush to hook it up to important infrastructure before you're familiar with how it behaves for your use case.
Fun to see @Meta LLaMA running outside the data center, even on Raspberry PI, but to what end for industrial automation and autonomy if it's not accurate, context-specific, iteratively able to overcome context lack/loss and can be human influenced? arstechnica.com/?post_type=p…

@balajis what about unexpected high or hyper inflation = Soft Default on US Govt. debt? Functions as tax, transfers wealth from debt holders to the government. Lowers capital investment, lowers wages. budgetmodel.wharton.upenn.ed…
Table from UPenn budget model--Who benefits from inflation driven soft default? 92% US debt not indexed to inflation, $7.3 trillion held by foreign investors.
With Unify 5.0, Industrial organizations can now stream their exponentially growing time series data in context to the cloud for faster decisions, greater autonomy. Hats off to the @elementanalytic team for shipping this one: elementanalytics.com/. #coffeeisforshippers

I will take that bet.
You buy 1 BTC.
I will send $1M USD.
This is ~40:1 odds as 1 BTC is worth ~$26k.
The term is 90 days.
All we need is a mutually agreed custodian who will still be there to settle this in the event of digital dollar devaluation.
If someone knows how to do this with a smart contract, we can do it on chain, so I can send USDC.
If you won't do that, name a custodian.

I'll bet anyone $1 million dollars that the US does not enter hyperinflation
