Couldn’t have picked a more broken person for the most dysfunctional White House in history.

Few did more to contribute to the debacle the @gop just endured than Stephen Miller. The backlash to his brutal ICE raids and nativist rants can be seen in returns all over the country. And for that, he's.:.PROMOTED?!?! nytimes.com/live/2026/11/06/… via @NYTimes

David Glosser, Stephen Miller's uncle, told CNN his nephew is an "immigration hypocrite": Our family history is entirely dependent on our ability to escape a terrible situation in Belarus. Had we not been able to enter America when we did, Stephen Miller would not exist. Everybody else who didn't make it to America ended up dying in the Holocaust.

I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points. (clip via @DropSiteNews)

Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley warns that there’s a humanitarian crisis in Cuba: unless we all make sure that Cubans have access to basic food and energy, “we put at risk people's lives, from babies to elderly people.”

One of the (many) reasons the attacks on Abdul failed is that Michigan voters would hear politicians (and plenty of pundits!) matter-of-factly assert that he's "hateful" "divisive" "extreme" "anti-Semitic" "dangerous" etc. Then they'd actually hear Abdul sound like...this:
El-Sayed: "If they come for your rights, they're coming for all of our rights. Because rights are rights ... if we're committed that government should be able about providing you the basic needs of a dignified life and protecting your rights, let's all come together around that."

“There’s a war on!” I notice the word ‘war’ increasingly in the Russian press, though officially Moscow still refers to its ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine. In today’s papers: enemies, drone attacks & what may become “the longest investment crisis in modern Russian history.” #ReadingRussia

Tasmania's House of Assembly has passed legislation to ban LGBTQ+ 'conversion practices', which seek to change or suppress a person's sexual orientation or gender identity. The proposed legislation would establish criminal penalties for those conducting 'conversion practices'. It now moves to Tasmania's upper house for consideration before it can become law #NOH8

Trans people are not the reason costs are skyrocketing. We are people and we deserve safety. Not to be scapegoated for MAGA's failures. Tomorrow, we vote MAGA out.

Honoured to formally take up my role as Australia’s High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea. My connection to PNG goes back three generations, and my first memories are of Port Moresby. I look forward to strengthening the bonds between our people. #YumiStapWantaim 🇦🇺🤝🇵🇬

Tomorrow’s US midterm elections are shaping up to be a Democratic wave. @ianbremmer says that MAGA’s enthusiasm has fallen off a cliff, and President Trump is uniquely positioned to be both angry and a lame duck at the same time. #QuickTake @gzeromedia
