We're hiring a Senior SRE at @laravel 🚀
Help build our SRE function from the ground up: SLOs, multi-region Kubernetes on AWS, and observability with the Grafana stack across Laravel Cloud, Nightwatch & Forge.
Remote, CET to US East.

Tune in here on X
Built my first game this weekend, building has never been as much fun as it is right now.
Try it out on moonshot.day
As a lot of people, I always wanted to try to build a game - and I've decided to give it a go with Astra 🧑🚀
Watch this space!
I can't believe I am back to post an update this early, but Astra on medium basically one-shot my idea in ~24 minutes. I can't comprehend out insane this is. Now we're iterating.
Feel happy after a round of polishing today where we've landed, this turned out pretty fun: moonshot.day

The best aws hardware, stripped down k8s, 0 swap, scalable architecture, optimized config, with amazing autoscaling you don't have to think about, cloudflare cdn at the edge and a solid team to keep it all running.
Or in other words; Magic ✨😄
Idk how @laravel cloud measures things but one thing I can say after testing with medium traffic apps is that a 1 vcpu 512mb flex instance feels like a 4 cpu 8gb machine. Idk how they do this
Will have to come up with some new goals now! Thanks @fideloper 😅

What an amazing Laracon last week. It was great to see everyone and feel the energy and excitement around what we're all building together. I always come away super inspired and energized.
We announced a lot of stuff 🧵

Laravel is hiring a Director of Developer Relations. This is an incredibly important job because you are leading the charge on positioning Laravel as the stack for the AI era.
Agents love opinions. Laravel has them in spades. 15+ years of docs in markdown, auth, ORM, databases, mail, frontend compatibility with React, and more. Other vendors are shipping queues in 2026 while Laravel's had that built in for over a decade.
You don't have deep Laravel expertise to apply but you should be someone who has shipped code, can lead a team, build ecosystem relationships, and is truly excited about the era of software development that we're in.
If this sounds like something you'd be into (or someone you know!) apply here → apply.workable.com/laravel/j…

Because of its maturity and conventional structure, Laravel is an incredibly powerful stack for agentic coding. One-shotting complex features is the norm.
If you're writing Laravel applications with agents you 100% must:
• composer require laravel/boost
Generates your agent guidelines (skills soon) for you based on what specific versions of packages you have installed, exposes a documentation search MCP tool, tools for running and listing Artisan commands, and more. 💪
