"After that on the final climb it was all about suffering to the end and limit my losses. When we came together again after that climb, I got away with a small group, chasing the 5 leaders. The 7th place I got in the end gives me a lot of confidence."

22. juli 2012 stod jeg på Champs-Élysées. Briterne havde fået deres første Tour-vinder i Wiggins og Sagan sin første 🟢 trøje. Under ærensrunden kaldte vi på alle ryttere. Kun én stoppede. Det var Chris Anker, som netop havde vundet prisen som Tourens mest angrebsivrige #TDF2022
