So let's talk about our first job! We weren't always writers... we pounded the pavement as high school seniors, asking if there were any "employment opportunities." And guess who was kind enough to hire us and give us the same shifts so we could drive together... @tjmaxx

We are SUPER pleased that our "invisibility coach" for Super You Book #2: Power of Invisibility has offered to answer a question! @ParikhPhysics in how many years might we see the first technology appear that could make a person invisible? Ten, a hundred, a thousand?

You may notice when you read Super You #2: The Power of Invisibility that dogs play a helpful supporting role in your adventure! Here is the dog who inspired it all... the little one who leads the pack, alongside our fearless illustrator, @YanceyLabat. instagram.com/patchaussie?ig…

The invisibility technology in Super You #2: Power of Invisibility is based on metamaterials, tiny particles that can manipulate light. So, instead of seeing Andrea in this video, you see the bookshelves behind her...because she is cloaked in metamaterials ;) #YAauthortakeover

Super You #2: The Power of Invisibility has comic book cameos! We worked with a great comic book illustrator named Yancey Labat (ylabat.com), and the designer incorporated speech bubbles and other elements of comic book design. #YAauthortakeover

So how do we make a book like Super You: The Power of Invisibility? It takes a lot of plotting and planning, good apps like Lucid Chart, and great editors like @alexwolfepack. This is just a small piece of the book outline. We made it blurry so no spoilers! #YAauthortakeover

Hey Everyone! We're Andrea Menotti and Hena Khan, co-authors of the Super You! series, and we're SUPER excited to be doing a takeover of the YE Twitter! A new book in the series just came out this week -- The Power of Invisibility! Here's us spotting it at @BNRockville !
