I can understand that the decision not to tell him the truth may have come from the fact that there's too much sensitive and uncomfortable information that could seriously hurt Adrien. But the fact that the truth is cruel or uncomfortable doesn't justify taking away his right to decide what to do with the information he's given, much less robbing him of the opportunity to HAVE A CRASH OUT if that's what he wants and needs. God forbid a 14/15 year old boy who's been abused and suffered from negligent parenting has a crash out after finding out about all the shit surrounding his life because of the decisions made by the ADULTS who were supposed to care for and protect him. What I honestly don't understand, OP, is why, if you understand that Chat Blanc exists because Gabriel forced Adrien to succumb to the akuma through the amok, you still defend the idea that the first thing that's going to happen if Adrien finds out the truth is Chat Blanc's return. That's a rather confusing contradiction, don't you think? Basically, you're making the same mistake Marinette does: assuming the worst will happen if Adrien so much as finds out the truth about his family and his own life. Let Adrien fall apart, cry his eyes out, go crazy and scream if he needs to. I think that boy has been controlled enough throughout his life already. They don't need to control his right to SUFFER too. Besides, I think he's already demonstrated that he's pretty self-aware, but you're all still stuck in s4 and incapable of seeing how much he's changed. Find yourselves another argument. This one doesn't work anymore.

I'm so sick of everyone lying to Adrien, of everyone choosing to leave him rather than tell him the truth, of everyone treating him like he's made of glass and infantilizing him as if he weren't his own person. I'm sorry, but trying to solve everything with even more lies, when a lie is what got them into this mess in the first place, is INSANE #MLBS7Spoilers
