Which is probably why she repeated as part of her answer to Stella Creasey's assertion that Truss was 'hiding under the table'. Anyone who's watched The West Wing knows you don't repeat the soundbite. Ever.
Mordaunt knew fine well what she was doing there.
I'm really excited about this! Big thanks to Kelly and everyone taking part. 🤗

Whilst cradling my little boy at 3am over Friday night, I came to an agreement with a Hollywood producer for the film and television rights for my Duncan Grant thriller Kill Day.
A long way to go before any production but for a kid from Paisley, this is not too bad.
It's already well in progress! In fact, I'm getting back to it right now :) (sorry I kept you up!)

When I was a wee boy, I was aware of the name Salman Rushdie. I didn't fully understand what he had done, or even who wanted him dead.
What I did know was that he was a writer. A novelist.
The idea filled me with awe, that you could write books. As a JOB... (1/13)
A fellow writer to another who was standing up against a theocratic government presided over by murderers and fanatics. I wonder what John would have to say tonight. (12/13)
