Gonna have to be that one guy who keeps plugging the same thing until it's finally time for replace Tisch. There is exactly one NY law enforcement executive who has NYPD rank and file experience and a left police reform vision and that is Edwin Raymond.

Interesting element of the NYC Police/ICE cooperation issue is that the NYPD doesn’t really have a formal process for determining if the badges of federal agents are real or not and have mistakenly arrested a number of Black ICE officers for impersonation.

In an attempt to distance themselves from the excesses of “woke 1” many people here abandoned useful terms like “rape culture” that accurately described real phenomena. After Elon bought Twitter some used the opportunity to indulge their grievances over the woke era by following an influx of pro-rape accounts and social groups. Rape culture never went away but too many stopped caring for social convenience.
