I wrote a little bit about how to do deployment updates without serving errors in #Kubernetes.
Since I don't have a blog, I'll just tweet.
You have some pods, and maybe an load-balancer, too. You want to update the deployment. How to do this "best" in K8s today?

This weekend has seen Russian officials, the @mfa_russia and @mod_russia make various attempts to debunk and dismiss videos coming from the town of Bucha. Bellingcat, along with the online community, took a look at those claims. bellingcat.com/news/2022/04/…

I am Russian, and I feel sick about this war.
Everyone who supported Putin is guilty. All this blood is on your hands, too.
Everyone who ever tried to stop him have not done enough. That includes me.

So what does @tradeparadigm actually do?
Principal Eng. @yodermike recently joined us and had no experience with the language of finance, so he recreated our messaging in a way that the average software engineer could understand.
It was so good, we had to share!

I really don't get how people navigate the k8s ecosystem. It's so vast, so complex, and most projects are largely unproven. How do you gauge if the time investment to learn some new framework is worth it. I do this full time and it's even a struggle for me.

It's the exact opposite: if you find your passion, you'll dedicate yourself to it, neglect other priorities, your self worth will rely on a single source, and when that source dries up or goes sour, you WILL burn out.
But your employer and investors don't want you to know that.

git pro tip: stick to a consistent style for git commit messages. I suggest starting them with “In which our hero”. E.g.,
