Most airdrops still pay the wallet that showed up, not the wallet that stays.
@zerufinance put the other version in an API yesterday.
The Allocation API is built for the team handing out tokens, not for the trader chasing them. It does three jobs before a list is finalized. It tries to spot farmed wallets from account age, how the wallet was funded, whether the activity is consistent, and what it did on other protocols. It ranks the remaining wallets by score band and by the kind of protocol they actually use, so a real user of that protocol weighs more than a tourist. And it looks at past exit behavior, who held through a drop and who sold on day one, before the allocation size is set.
That is the same filter sitting under Zaps, just sold to projects instead of shown as a points number. Their own campaigns already run on it. Wash trades score zero. Wallets funded from one source can count as one. Lifetime history counts. A signup does not.
If you are joining Ditto or Aspen, this is the reason a fresh wallet and a year of trades are not equal. The API is what a protocol would use to tell them apart before the airdrop, not after the dump.
