In a boxing world of he said/she said it is nice to have a real story with some meat on the bones: Amy Broadhurst is back. Two years out. Baby. Controvery. Dedication. Sacrifice. She fights May 21-26 Eindoven Box Cup. The ambition is LA28. It’s a proper story.

I met Amy Broadhurst during the week. One of the most fascinating people in Irish sport. Few athletes have such inner strength - boxing, pregnanacy and her enduring Olympic dream. irishtimes.com/sport/boxing/…

After switching from Ireland to Team GB ‘it was a really horrible atmosphere ... it was very difficult’
