EXACTLY THIS. All the haters out there wisely claiming this car is useless just don't get the damn point. The point isn't the car itself. It's the inspiration that if you put your mind and hard work, literally anything is possible. Anything like a car that can drive UPSIDE DOWN.
All over the country, kids just watched the Roadster fly and decided their own crazy ideas might be possible too.
Thanks, @elonmusk.
This upside down casual drive was abso-fucking-lutely insane. Insane. I can confidently say that the only company that could have done this so perfectly is @Tesla. And they just did it too. I still find it hard to believe this is real life and NOT AI.

Unveiling on the same day as roadster? Hmmm pretty gutsy.
Big fan of Elon, but sorry, this is just gone too far. I obviously don't know the internals, this 'seems' a lot like "you either do as I say, or else I'll start my tantrums" sort of thing. Especially when you're cozying up to someone like Rahul Gandhi. Da fuq dude.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
Respect 🙏🙏🙏
We’ve lost an icon. Margaret Hamilton, a computer science pioneer best known for her work at MIT leading development of the flight software for the Apollo missions to the moon, has died at 90. Read about her legacy via MIT News: news.mit.edu/2026/margaret-h…
Just my few cents. While the benefits from starlink are unquestionable, it is a fact that once starlink enters the market and floods the entire country with easy access internet, the current major "Indian" companies are going to face major losses.
So Indian government thinking about Indian companies first is sorta fair from their POV. Flip side being, normal people are being kept in the dark. Literally.
I'm assuming it's more political than anything else. Because let's be real, NO politician thinks solely for 'the benefit of people' alone. It is a delicate balance of people, vote banks, capitalists, industrialists.

Since your profile indicates you are a former NASA, I thought I would flag a few points:
1. I personally pay for all costs associated with the fleet of F-5 aircraft, be that airshows, NFL flyovers, or NASA workforce incentive flights. The rest of the NASA fleet, including F-15s, F/A-18s, and T-38s, requires currency flights to maintain pilot proficiency. Would you prefer they do that over the desert where no one can see them?
2. Obviously, the first A in NASA is Aeronautics, and throughout our history we have taken NASA X-planes to airshows. In fact, a lot of my strategy at NASA draws upon our proud history. We took the X-31 all the way to the Paris Air Show in 1995, the SR-71 was featured at the Edwards Air Show and Oshkosh in 1997, and the X-29 flew at the Dayton and Oshkosh airshows in 1990. It is part of our history, and do you know why? Because inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, researchers, pilots, and astronauts is part of what we do. It always has been.
3. It is also our nation’s 250th birthday and the year we returned NASA astronauts to the lunar environment. We are returning to the Moon, building a Moon base, and this is a great time to get out, engage with the public, and tell the NASA story.

Somewhere on that beach is a future pilot, engineer or astronaut. That’s why we fly.
An incredible weekend over Huntington Beach with our @NASA team at @PacificAirshow. America has big missions ahead, and we’re going to need the next generation ready to take them on.
SpaceX very soon:
Our satellites will block out the sun. 😂
SpaceX has just released a new look at what their 1 million Starmind satellites constellation might look like (dots do not represent true size of sats).
SpaceX VP @michaelnicollsx said today: "We need to operate clusters of satellites in tight formation to get enough coherent compute to run AI models efficiently. A cluster will be 10-ish satellites connected with 10 terabits or so of bandwidth between them, and interconnected to the broader constellation."
Even more free publicity for @EVject. And frankly, evject seems just so straight forward than this band-aid like solution from Tesla. Sad.
