Gun control groups like @Everytown @GIFFORDS_org and @MomsDemand are hyper-communicative when it comes to pushing their propaganda about school shooting tragedies. But silent about cities like Chicago that have all of their favored gun control measures: This weekend: 3 murdered, 17 shot. cbsnews.com/chicago/news/chi…

SAF FACTSHEET: After every pro-Second Amendment ruling and reform of the last several years, gun control groups, advocates, and public officials predicted more shootings and more death. Instead, American murder fell to record lows. In our new factsheet, we compile the relevant data and link to 85 discredited predictions, all in one easy-to-read reference document. Whether it be Bruen, ATF rulemaking, or states adopting constitutional carry, there is one guarantee: if something favorable to the Second Amendment is happening, anti-gun groups and their allies in elected office will issue statements claiming that a surge in violent crime is imminent. When they make those predictions, journalists often quote them uncritically in their coverage. For example, in its recent article on the Justice Department declining to seek a stay of a ruling against National Firearms Act registration of suppressors and short-barreled rifles and shotguns, CBS News quoted Giffords Executive Director Emma Brown warning that these items “can now easily get into the wrong hands and be used to harm innocent people.” The article did not tell readers that predictions like this one have repeatedly failed to come true in the past. Not only have they been wrong, but they have missed the mark in breathtaking fashion. For example, following the Bruen ruling, Brady, Everytown, Giffords, and March For Our Lives issued a joint statement saying in no uncertain terms that “this ruling will mean more guns in more places, which will inevitably lead to more tragic acts of vigilantism, gun violence, and preventable deaths.” As we all now know, nothing of the sort occurred. Four years on from Bruen, the United States will likely record the lowest murder rate on record in 2026. The predictions weren't just wrong. The very opposite of what they said would happen is what actually came to pass. Yet to our knowledge, no mainstream journalist has demanded that gun control advocates answer for these failed predictions. Instead, they keep quoting their latest claims without even telling the reader that their prior predictions were uniformly wrong. Hopefully, that is because the news media generally isn't aware of all those prior claims or the current crime data. If so, SAF would like to help them (and the public) be better informed on this topic. We have developed a factsheet that compiles the relevant data, as well as 85 failed predictions from anti-gun groups, prominent anti-gun activists, and anti-gun politicians. These predictions span several topic areas: 39 from Bruen, 17 from states enacting permitless or "constitutional" carry, 11 from the NFA tax being zeroed out and related NFA litigation, 7 more from other Trump-era DOJ and ATF actions, and 11 from the Supreme Court's bump stock decision in Garland v. Cargill. A link is provided to each, as well as to all of the relevant crime data. Note that even at 85 examples, we do not claim this factsheet is comprehensive. There are likely hundreds more examples out there. But we think we have made our point. It is time for the news media to push back on the steady stream of failed predictions from the anti-gun side, and we hope our factsheet will be a valuable resource in helping bring about that accountability. The document is linked below!

I talked with @RoodBoiBased about this weeks ago (Rest easy homie) and we both agreed on that state laws will still apply. This is a huge win, but double check state and local laws, there is no need in getting happy assed and going to jail.

The most amusing fact about the '94 "assault weapons" ban: Before it, most Americans weren't especially interested in the AR-15. After it passed, interest jumped. After it expired, it exploded. Gun grabbers created their own "problem."
That federal AWB was a joke, which is why it's hilarious when modern antigunners claim it reduced mass shootings.

Here's a very real and plausible, coordinated gun control scheme: Suppose BAD actors within the bureaucratic state remove digital safeguards on private data they want exposed. Maybe even drop some cookie crumbs to willing and capable parties. A resulting cyber-attack leads to the breaching of that information and its sale on the dark web. Anti-freedom and anti-2A NGOs swoop in, buy up the data, pass it off to sympathetic government agencies or their proxies for "enforcement." No due process, and complete plausible deniability as a result of an unfortunate "breach." Maybe even blame AI as a complicating factor. If that sounds far-fetched, it shouldn't. Some elements of this have already occurred. ATF admitted a cyberattack and breach on August 26 exposing data related to "criminal investigations." "The CALEA system processes highly sensitive information tied to wiretaps, communications monitoring, and ongoing investigations." @GunOwners reported that Russian ransomware gang Qilin published 6.3GB of that hacked data from the ATF, including investigation target names, phone numbers, IP addresses, iCloud data, Cellebrite phone dumps, and more. You can call anything an "investigation." Weaponized government agencies have been doing it for years: This week, testimony from @FBIDirectorKash in the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed the @FBI was using a "NICS Monitoring" program to spy on gun owners across the last three presidential terms. Rogue elements in the FBI and ATF could be doing this now, or given directives under a future administration. After all, the Biden-Harris Office of Gun Violence Prevention earmarked BILLIONS towards anti-gun activities, often with influence from gun control groups. The @ATFHQ has admitted to 1.3 billion gun owner records. That data trove is an NGO's wet dream. All that's needed is a hack and deniability. NGOs, and their operatives, becomes the useful tools to act on this now-"public source" data and implement incremental gun control through fear, thefts, extortion, confiscation, arson, random "crime" and any other means. Post your thoughts and responses below for discussion. Receipts below: xitter.cf/ATFHQ/status/209445539… dailycaller.com/2026/09/01/r… xitter.cf/GunOwners/status/20945… cybernews.com/cybercrime/atf… news2a.com/national/office-o…
🚨BREAKING🚨 After a 72 hour countdown expired, Russian ransomware gang Qilin briefly published 6.3GB of data it hacked from ATF. The data includes criminal investigation target names, phone numbers, IP addresses, iCloud data, Cellebrite phone dumps, and more.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. (Sarcasm.) You clearly have a bias against firearm ownership. The argument that “guns are too dangerous for the average person to own” conveniently seems to apply only when the product is something you personally don’t value or see a purpose for in your everyday life. Cars are a perfect example. Motor vehicle crashes kill thousands of people every year, yet you’re not arguing that cars are “too dangerous” for the average person to own, nor are you calling for laws that broadly restrict ordinary people from owning them. The difference is obvious: you accept the risks associated with products you consider useful while demanding restrictions on a product you personally oppose. That’s not a consistent standard.

Nope. It has always been about controlling lives. Elitist, bigoted oligarchs on high love to plan our lives for us and truly believe themselves entitled and destined to do so. They know better for us, they believe. Us having guns is a big risk, because we could turn against their amazing wisdom.

It was never about saving lives. Was it?
They want to remove guns from the culture. A great way to do this is stopping kids from being able to have, carry, and use BB guns without direct adult supervision at all times. The federal government has no delegated authority for this. Congress has no power here. These are arms, too.

Justice Thomas: “Why do we keep saying there is a Second Amendment right?” “[The Constitution] assumes the right, it doesn’t grant a right.” “The right to bear arms shall not be infringed.” This is what Constitution Day is all about. 🇺🇸
This Constitution Day, remember: Our rights are God given. The Founders wrote the Constitution to protect those rights from tyranny. We must hold every politician accountable when they turn their backs on the oaths they swore to uphold.

Congress must stop the lawfare campaign against gun makers. H.R. 9298, the SHOT Act, is in markup in House Judiciary in just a few minutes. PLCAA already says you can't sue a manufacturer over what a criminal did with a lawful product. Anti-gun lawyers got around it by suing over the advertising instead. The claim is garbage and they know it. Doesn't matter. Two years of discovery and seven figures in legal fees can bankrupt a manufacturer regardless if the case ever reaches trial. The SHOT Act takes that away. Call 202-225-3121 and tell your rep to vote yes. Stream below.
