big time economic slowdown in central california Between ice raids in central california, tons of immigrants stopped showing up to farms and construction sites. this is not a political tweet simply observation and reporting from clients. Conveniences stores have seen 55% drop in walk in traffic. People don’t fill their gas all the way and certainly don’t shop unless they have to. Leads to down sales for the vendors (another client). Most people are waiting to see results of midterms and then will decide on deploying capital. High intent search volume been down since September. Hoping your market is better than central California’s. I’d anticipate food prices increasing further. Tariffs hurt fertilizer supply. Hoping to see local economy improve going into 2027 with however the midterms shake up.
