I love when two worlds I’ve been involved in collide. @CraigGidney used to work in video games, but now works in quantum computing. @ID_AA_Carmack is a gamedev legend who does whatever he wants to do, which happens to be AI at the moment.

Nice reduction showing T-count optimization is NP-hard: arxiv.org/abs/2310.05958. Force the optimizer to solve 3SAT by giving it a circuit that phases solutions by 45°. If there's no solutions or no non-solutions, it must delete the circuit. If not, can't delete all the T gates.
