POV: You’re the director for my “You’re watching Disney Channel” video and also I love Grizzly Bears
At the Valentine’s Day rerelease last year at AMC Empire the entire theater audibly sat forward as soon as Art served and the score dropped

Remember that time when all those sports reporters broke out the pitchforks and piled on that Jacksonville reporter for basically telling Liam Coen “great season coach, we’re proud of you” like that was the biggest violation of journalistic ethics of all time?

re: kelly clarkson — idrc what happened but regardless, it’s embarrassing to post about a bad retail interaction unless it was like, a hate crime. additionally, it’s even more embarrassing to do so as a wealthy celeb! like is this rly a struggle worth sharing w/ millions online?
And that’s exactly why Javier Bardem is the best villain of the Craig Bond series!!!!
Javier Bardem on his "Skyfall" villain adding homoeroticism to the #JamesBond franchise:
"[Sam Mendes] was so open to what I was proposing to do with the sexuality of the character. Because I said ... 'What about something like, besides destroying the world, he wants to have sex with Bond.'” variety.com/2026/film/global…

this joke— that women dress like “whores” at the gym and get mad if you look— has been a very common joke for AT LEAST fifteen years, and it has never once that I can recall been performed with a punchline.
oof...Shane Gillis's very awkward SNL opening monologue included him calling women whores for wearing shorts at the gym + an anecdote about using Joe Rogan's personal sauna, in which Theo Von said he "looked like a gas station egg"
he ended the monologue by saying "you're either gay or you're Hitler, and isn't that where we're at as a country?" which kinda confused the audience, so he literally had to say, "hey, that was the monologue, ladies and gentlemen"
here's the first joke: "I haven't been to the gym in so long. I didn't know women just dress like whores now. There's no other way to describe it. Have you seen the shorts? The wrinkles go, like, around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole. And don't look. You're not allowed to look."

people are calling the kelly clarkson/art of play thing petty or low stakes but I actually think it is very deep when a celebrity isn't willing to use their platform to speak on actual atrocities, but they're willing to double down on putting a random tiny store on blast
the dream are playing finals basketball and they’re giving the building to Lu Dort
