Remembering #Artsakh one year after ethnic cleansing. AMENA-Psy grieves and stands in solidarity with our Armenian siblings #ArtsakhGenocide
AMENA-Psy is outraged and deeply dismayed about the violence directed toward immigrants, BIPOC folks, and Muslim people in the UK. We call for an END TO RACIST ATTACKS!
Elected leaders and the media must protect these communities and openly dispel and condemn inflammatory disinformation that contributes to physical violence against them. #NoRacismNoFascism
Our 2024 conference deadline is quickly approaching! Get your submissions in before July 1st🗣️ #AMENAPSY2024
Please consider signing this open letter in support of Mohamed Abdou

As MENA scholars, we stand in support of our colleague, Mohamed Abdou, Arcapita Visiting Assistant Professor at Columbia University, who has been targeted for his pro-Palestine
commitments and activism. [1/9]
The targeting of Professor
Abdou is an attack on academic freedom and has opened him up to harassment and slander,
regular death threats, global doxxing, and is negatively impacting his reputation, future job
prospects and income. [8/9]
AMENA-Psy stands in full solidarity with students, faculty, and community members establishing encampments at universities across the country to demand academic divestment from the state of Israel and an immediate ceasefire. [1/6]
Student resistance in the United States is rooted in more than eight decades of Palestinian decolonial struggle, and draws inspiration from Gazans’ sumud, or steadfast perseverance against the genocide. [5/6]
With all universities in Gaza reduced to rubble, this movement illuminates the importance of academic freedom, and that college campuses should be sites of liberation. [6/6]
