Barack Obama at his last press briefing with reporters, 2017:
"I have enjoyed working with all of you. That does not, of course, mean that I've enjoyed every story that you have filed, but that's the point of this relationship. You're not supposed to be sycophants. You're supposed to be skeptics. You're supposed to ask me tough questions. You're not supposed to be complimentary, but you're supposed to cast a critical eye on folks who hold enormous power."

Jimmy Kimmel just hit back at Donald and Melania Trump after they called for his firing and he did it in a perfect way
“It was a very light roast joke about the fact that he’s almost 80 and she’s younger than I am. It was not by any stretch of the definition a call to assassination. And they know that… I’ve been very vocal for many years speaking out against gun violence, in particular. But I understand that the First Lady had a stressful experience over the weekend. And probably every weekend is pretty stressful in that house. And also, I agree that hateful and violent rhetoric is something we should reject. I do. And I think a great place to start to dial that back would be to have a conversation with your husband about it.”

So, a bunch of us who've been to events with POTUS or VPOTUS over the years know you have to have your DOB and SSN sent 72 hours in advance. There are metal detectors EVERYWHERE. You're cavity searched.
So explain to me why this keeps happening? Is it staged or is the Secret Service in on it? Because Obama got like a ridiculous amount of threats and the WH was shot at and fence jumpers etc... and not once did anyone get this close. With Trump, it's happened THREE TIMES. So something isn't right here.....

Went to the grocery store this morning
Bread, milk, eggs
$47.63
The screen asked if I'd like to round up to support a children's hospital
I pressed no
The cashier looked at me
The woman behind me looked at me
My wife looked at the ceiling
Again
This company made $14 billion last year
They can round up
Went to get gas after
The pump asked if I'd like to add $1 to support veterans
I support veterans
I pressed no
A $200 billion oil company asking me to fund their charity while I'm paying $3.89 a gallon
That's not philanthropy
That's outsourcing
Drove through for lunch
Taco Bell
The screen said "round up for education?"
A fast food company asking me to fund scholarships while paying their employees $11 an hour
I pressed no
My wife said "you know you're arguing with screens today"
She was right
But the screens started it
Went to the pharmacy
Picked up a prescription
$340 after insurance
The screen asked if I'd like to donate $1 to help families in need
I just paid $340 for a medication that costs $4 to manufacture
And now you want a dollar
I pressed no
The pharmacist said "it's just a dollar"
I said "it's never just a dollar"
She didn't respond
Got home
My wife said "you said no to a children's hospital, veterans, education, and families in need today"
I said "no. I said no to four corporations who want me to fund their goodwill so they can put it in their annual report"
She was quiet
Then she said "you're not wrong"
I said "I know"
She said "but you're still going to look like a monster"
I said "I'd rather look like a monster than quietly fund a billion-dollar company's PR strategy at the register"
She didn't disagree
But she didn't look at me either
Plz fix. Thx.

This is the message MAGA was trying to convince you to be scared of. A message of unity and love.

Let me make this crystal fucking clear….
If Clinton abused young girls…
- Prison
If Bill Gates abused young girls…
- Prison
If Elon Musk abused young girls…
- Prison
If Clarence Thomas abused young girls…
- Prison
If Donald Trump abused young girls…
- Prison
You either agree to all of these or none.
If you pick based on politics…
You Support Pedophiles,
Not Kids.

For everyone claiming women “breastfed just fine” in the 1950s, no, they didn’t. Breastfeeding rates were some of the lowest in history. Formula marketing, nursery separation, rigid feeding schedules, and minimal lactation support made it nearly impossible. In fact, breastfeeding rates are higher today than they were in the 1950s.
And yet here we are, rewriting history while expecting modern mothers to power through, sacrifice everything, and somehow make it work with the same lack of systemic support. Let’s stop romanticizing the past and start supporting women in whatever they choose.

RFK Jr seriously needs to keep his mouth shut. You don’t get to tell women to “just breastfeed” in a country with no national paid leave, no guaranteed paid pumping breaks at work, no affordable childcare, and workplaces that barely accommodate lactating parents. Breastfeeding isn’t just a choice, it’s a system dependent behavior. If you want to promote it, you’d better start with the systems that make it possible.

Booger literally just broke down why it was clearly a TD. Amazing how everyone else could see it but a 5 minute review crew can’t!!??
@SECOfficiating @GregSankey - we don’t need your apologies, just add the friggin TD back and update our score.
alicia retweeted
I can't... I mean @SECOfficiating what the absolute heck are you doing in this Auburn/Georgia game. Kirby SPRINTS up the field asking for a timeout and then you give it back to them and help them avoid the Delay of Game? @GregSankey you have to take some responsibility.

What’s a fumble?
What’s a first down?
I don’t know a goddamn thing anymore.

Every school thinks they get screwed the worst by the SEC league office.
Auburn actually does.
