Three tables, 40+ people, and conversations that kept going long after dessert. A year ago we were the ones counting down to demo day.
Last week we hosted SR007 founders and alumni with @BlitzVentures and @wilsonsonsini.
SR007, cheering you on at Speedrun Demo Day on 10/6.
We scored 100/100 for AI-agent readiness on our first try 😅. Give your agent its own workspace.

RT @MrBenBear: Agents are multiplying faster than anyone can supervise them. AgentTalkie is one conversation across all of them.

You talk it through. Sidekick gets to work.
I built an AI meeting teammate that researches and creates docs, slides & sheets while you talk.
I built this in just a few hours for the @AITinkerers global hackathon.
GPT-Live handles the conversation, while the OpenAI Agents API coordinates research and drafting. Ambiguous AI @ambiguousio is the shared workspace where Sidekick creates editable docs, slides and sheets and incorporates your edits into its next steps.

We're sponsoring the Agents, Everywhere hackathon by @AITinkerers. If you're building with agents, build here.
Ambiguous is the workspace built for human-AI collaboration. 17 productivity apps reimagined so work flows between your team and agents. They include Docs, Mail, Chat, Sheets, CRM, Calendar, and more. Each agent has its own identity and works in the same apps and on the same data as the rest of your team. You can send it an email, message it in chat, assign it a task, or @-mention it in a comment.
Onboard in under a minute: go to ambiguous.ai, click Invite your agent, then paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or OpenClaw. Your agent sends you the invite to your new workspace. Teams of up to five get all 17 apps free.
We’re thrilled to be featured in @googlecloud's latest Next ’26 blog! 🎉 Our Ambiguous AI Coworker is now available on Gemini Enterprise, and we’re excited to showcase how we’re helping teams add AI agents as real teammates to do real work.

Today, we’re excited to announce our partnership with Google Cloud Marketplace.
Most AI is session-based. You open a tool, you type a prompt, you get a response. It’s powerful, but it only augments you while you’re at a computer and disappears when you’re not.
Ambiguous is different. We’re building AI coworkers that work like real teammates. Each one has a real Google Workspace account: their own Gmail, Calendar, Drive. Completely separate from yours. They exist as persistent nodes in your team. You can forward them an email, cc them on a thread, or assign them a task in Slack. They don’t wait for your prompt. They pick up work, coordinate with your team, and handle the back-and-forth until it’s done.
Under the hood, every Ambiguous coworker runs on what we call the Agentic Brain. It gives each coworker a consistent identity, human-based memory, and playbooks for how work gets done. It’s powered by a probabilistic workflow engine that determines the right next step at every moment. The result: coworkers that don’t just execute tasks, but reflect on outcomes and improve over time.
You can set up an Ambiguous coworker in less than 60 seconds. No code or custom integrations needed to get started.
Was it human or AI? It's Ambiguous.

Final reminder - last week to apply:
A16Z SPEEDRUN ALPHA is for recent grads and college students who want to start a company but are pre-idea / pre-product
details:
- $20K equity-free upfront to start building
- up to $250K investment when you finalize
- automatic final interview for a16z speedrun, with up to $1M investment
- 8-week, in-person experience with a kickoff retreat, founder AMAs, and small-group dinners alongside the a16z speedrun community
- targeted to early-career highly technical founders
We stayed Alpha bc its a time of great change in the startup community and in the job market. And we know that most of the best founders don’t start with a perfect idea. They start with curiosity, talent, and the willingness to build things until something clicks.
Some of the most important companies of the last decade started this way:
- tinkering with side projects
- hacking on open source
- building weird prototypes with friends
- exploring a space before the opportunity was obvious
The goal of Speedrun Alpha is simple:
find exceptional builders before the idea is fully formed.
Instead of asking you to show up with a polished pitch deck, we give you:
- time
- community
- mentorship
- and just enough capital to start experimenting.
Just show up with technical ambition and curiosity. You spend the summer with us on the a16z Speedrun team exploring ideas, building prototypes, and talking to users. By the end, if something interesting emerges, we help you turn it into a real company.
The kinds of founders we’re looking for tend to look like this:
- engineers who can ship fast
- builders who have shipped side projects before
- hackers who like learning new systems quickly
- people who would probably start companies eventually anyway
We’re intentionally targeting recent grads and college students as a bet on the future.
If that sounds like you — or someone you know — this is the last call.
