The problem with the kids today is that they want to cherry-pick their lifestyles: - independence and habits of the West, but traditional comforts of an Indian home. The result is self-entitlement, and lack of financial responsibility and respect for others.

Diwali Week trip to Maldives? Here's your perfect getaway for 5N to paradise. Prices below are for All Inclusive Meal plan - if you DO NOT drink, you can opt for Half Board/Full Board meal plan, which may be cheaper. Also, these prices include seaplane/speedboat transfers and Green Tax, which cost a bomb in Maldives - your hotel website/OTA rates DO NOT include that. DM us for more offers and to book.
Post my recent visit to the Maldives and after staying at 3 different properties, I have realized that Maldives has a lots to offer. As a traveler you need to be clear what you want - are you going there because you want to experience a water villa, or are you a keen on exploring the marine life/reef, do you want to party, or are going as a family and would love some water slides/park at the resort? Different resorts offer very different propositions and going to a honeymoon resort may not be the best option for a water park expectation. Similarly, going to a chaotic party resort may not be the best if you are really focused on exploring marine life/reefs. And this is where we step in - as a Travel Advisor, we help you find the best resort for your exact needs. Here's a professionally shot Brand Video from Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Maldives I recently visited this resort - and my fair take is that none of this is wrong. You get what you see here. For the best advisory and deals in Maldives, reach out to us via DM, or via the WhatsApp link on our website (see profile).

#7 Dial-Up & Cyber Cafes. Paying ₹20 an hour to hear that screeching dial-up modem sound. Chatting on Yahoo Messenger or the only games in that 999-in-1 video game cartridges: Contra and Super Mario.

#8 The School Treasures we fiercely protected: Milton water bottles, geometry boxes, slam books, that fancy Reynolds pen. What am I missing?

The password requirement for Axis SIHub is more stringent than that for the nuclear switch perhaps 😥

We have a client who is outright refusing to pay for her 3-night stay at Evolve Back Coorg, and I honestly need to vent. We always guarantee Evolve Back as the ultimate luxury experience. In fact, we’re so confident in their service that we sometimes informally tell our clients: "If there is anything you don't like, we won't charge you." Well, this client used that against us. We got her a mind-boggling deal: - A massive 4,400 sq ft Heritage Pool Villa - Private heated pool overlooking the lake - Breakfast and dinner included - An exclusive 4x4 coffee plantation tour - ₹15,000 in resort credit - The food? Absolutely incredible. - The service? Flawless. So, what was her excuse for invoking our "unwritten don't pay" policy? She said the property was "just too perfect, and not what she expected." Because of this, she is refusing to clear her invoice, and we are still actively chasing her for the payment. This is just not done. Oh, for context: V is my wife.
Luxury is Waking up to Bird's calls and taking a Dip in a temperature controlled private pool by the Lakeside! #EvolveBackCoorg @ebresorts DM for best deals

Irony of the Day! Often, it's not the Embassy that's holding back the applicants, but the fleecing employees at VFS. For everything they have said in this advertisement, I am not sure if they mean even 1% of it.

Among the most heartbreaking things I have ever visited 😭 How the Britishers enslaved so many people from many countries (majority of which was fron India) for forced labour in the sugarcane fields in Mauritius! And the unfortunate success of that experiment led to large scale slavery and forced migration to other countries including fighting in the World wars.

An often overlooked aspect of Miles redemption is flexibility. I had my Mauritius-Mumbai Air India J class booked for 29th July for 50k miles. However, due to sudden illness I decided to fly back on 27th (decided less than 20 hrs before on 26th). Seats were available on Economy for 30k miles (2.5x normal requirement but revenue rate was 40k). I decided to cancel my plan for 29th (lost 12.5k miles) and booked the Eco seat for 27th. While the loss of miles and higher miles paid for Eco seat are debatable, I probably wouldn't have made this switch if the ticket was on revenue.

Booking Mauritius direct? Or even on preferred partner advisor rates? YOU ARE DOING IT WROGN! Mauritius hotels work on a package rate model, which is available only through travel agents. You won't these rates directly on hotel sites or even OTAs. A random comprison of even 3rd night free advisor rates for participating properties comes out more expensive than these package rates. Think Sofitel Imperial Mauritius for 160k for 5N vs 200k+ on advisor rates. What makes this even better is that ok these package rates you get complimentary breakfast, dinner, airport transfers and 3 full days of sightseeing on SIC (shared) basis (can upgrade to private at extra cost). The next time you think of Mauritius/Maldives/Seychelles, think of us.

🚨Future of "Edge Reward Points & EdgeMiles" ⁉️If n When 🪓s Devaluation hits Most important is how 🪓s does it 🤨 Scenario1️⃣ 📉Just Devalues the Ratios across partners ⏰You will likely get a 30 day notice period Scenario2️⃣ 📉Removes the Transfer partner OVERNIGHT 🚪And then Relaunches it 💔Just like they did with "ACCOR, Qatar & MB" ⏰❌There won't be any notice period 💔 AND YOU WILL BE STRUCK BADLY 💔 ✔️If you already have an upcoming Travel Plan ♻️TRANSFER NOW ♻️ ❌If you don't have any nearby Travel Plan 🔁Better to transfer to Versatile Safe Options 📈At existing higher Tranfer Ratios E.g. ✈️Air India and/or 🏨ITC This POST overrides my earlier views, if any ❓Did you like the above analogy Like ❤️ n Repost ♻️ if useful #CreditCard #CCgeek #Axis #EdgeRewardPoints #EdgeMiles #AirIndia #ITC
