Absolutley delighted to take delivery of our brand new surgical robot at Whipps Cross Hospital today with @Jimi_Odejinmi this is going to transform surgical care for our residents and brings cutting edge (excuse the pun!) technology to Whipps!
Just back from Barcelona speaking at the @IntuitiveSurg European commercial conference about my experience as a CEO & patient. Best part is my speaking fee goes to @Barts_Charity which will help buy the next generation of robots and will benefit patients across the East of London
Not going to lie, losing part of my pancreas last year was not the most fun time I've had but was lucky to get to speak to @CancerNel about how its changed my perspective as an acute hospital CEO and on life in general

Had a lovely time visiting @10DowningStreet today. My favourite point was either my 6 y/o getting to sit in the PMs chair at the cabinet table (as if he was instigating a coup!) or my 3 y/o loudly declaring she only wanted to see the kitchen to everyone that spoke to her 🤷🏽♂️
