Hi everyone!
Over the past 2 months, I’ve been quietly building QUB Core: a decentralized, trustless, non-custodial Proof-of-Work blockchain written entirely from scratch in Rust.
Along with a private group of around 50 developers and early backers, we are ready to open the gates for the next wave of core miners and technical peers. No pre-mine, no VC allocations, no pump-and-dump mechanics. This is a pure infrastructure and engineering project.
🛠️ The Tech Stack & Architecture
Unlike 99% of modern projects, QUB Core isn't a fork, nor is it an asset-factory (like Ethereum or Solana) where anyone can deploy random smart-contract tokens.
Language: Built from scratch in Rust (focusing on memory safety, high concurrency, and raw performance).
Consensus: BTC-like Proof of Work (SHA-256) with CPU + GPU (OpenCL) mining enabled natively.
Speed: 10x faster than Bitcoin (1/10 block time, meaning 1-minute blocks) and a 10x faster halving interval. Max supply is hardcapped at 21,000,000 QUB.
State Model: Pure UTXO. However, unlike BTC/LTC/DOGE which are mono-coin chains, QUB implements a Pent-Coin Chain model. Five core assets are deeply hardcoded directly into the consensus layer:
#QUB (Native Gas & Base Currency)
#JIN (Utility/Infusion Asset)
#USDJ (Jinex USD Stablecoin)
#EURJ (Jinex EUR Stablecoin)
#XAUJ (Jinex Gold Stablecoin)
➕Infusion & 💧Melt Mechanics (DeFi at the Consensus Layer)
We ported the brilliant economic logic of "Infusion" and "Melting" (originally seen on @enjin /Substrate) directly into a PoW UTXO state transition model.
Infusion ➕: Minting Jinex stablecoins requires backing/locking base assets.
Melting 💧: Users can "melt" (aka burn) their USDJ, EURJ, or XAUJ on-chain to instantly claim and unlock the underlying 1:1 reserve buckets (e.g., USDT/USDC for USDJ) via our Ethereum cross-chain smart contract bridge.
The Jinex network originally launched (and will remain active) on the Enjin Blockchain, but QUB Core serves as the decentralized, high-performance PoW backbone for this multi-asset ecosystem.
🖥️ How to Join & Mine
The Windows client is ready. Whether you want to point your CPU/GPU to the network, feel free to join our closed, tech-first community.

GitHub / Source: Not available yet
We are looking for peers who understand systems programming, cryptography, and raw PoW mining. If you are looking for the next memecoin, this isn't it. If you want to mine a serious tech stack early, let's build together.
Feel free to ask anything about the Rust implementation, the multi-asset UTXO validation logic, or the bridging mechanics!
QUB Core 1.8.6 / HF133 is available.
MANDATORY MAINNET UPGRADE — UPDATE BEFORE BLOCK #100000
This applies to wallets, solo miners, pool miners and node operators. Older releases, including 1.8.4, cannot follow the upgraded chain after activation.
The release includes synchronization and memory improvements. At block #100000, it also activates ASERT-MTP difficulty adjustment with a 60-second target, designed to reduce repeated difficulty swings under changing mining power. The target does not guarantee a block every 60 seconds.
Windows upgrade: stop mining, close QUB Core and run the official 1.8.6 installer over your existing installation. Reopen the app and confirm version 1.8.6. Keep your existing wallet and chain-data folders. Use this manual route if the old auto-updater closes the app without updating it.

Activation is determined by block height, not a fixed date. Update before #100000 and do not downgrade to an epoch-2-only release after activation.
- Dec 2025: Started building Jinex network on @enjin: launched Jinex general webapp (app.jinex.io).
- Jinex NFT collection reached #1 rank on nft.io by both All Time #ENJ volume and ENJ infusion within a few weeks.
- April 2026: Started building #QUB blockchain and launched v1.0.0 two days later.
- From there and until today: 84 versions deployed (128 internal hotfixes).
Current version is 1.8.4, and most / hardest work is done and live already. QUB Miner and non-custodial mobile wallet are coming soon too.
Soon I'll turn my focus into marketing QUB + JIN, with the same pace as I'm developing everything. No KOLs and BS.
Don't be fooled that currently no one knows about QUB/JIN; I was intentionally not talking much about it.
I won't try to convince you to get involved or mine, but if you don't, you will regret it pretty soon (I can guarantee that).

QUB Core v1.8.0 is live - Fast Chain Engine
🔽 Download:
download.qubit-coin.io
🧑💻 Source:
github.com/AlxProe/qub-core/…
⚠️ This is a mandatory performance and storage update.
HF123 introduces no new consensus activation.
Protocol Epoch 2 remains active at block #24000, and mainnet blocks from #24000 onward remain block version 2.
✅ Fast Chain Engine
- Replaced the constantly rewritten monolithic chain hot path with QUB-FCE-1.
- New append-only block journal.
- Atomic CURRENT/PREVIOUS committed-state pointers.
- Immutable UTXO/mempool state snapshots.
- Validated one-time migration from the existing chain state.
- Recovery from interrupted journal writes and the previous committed pointer.
- The legacy chain.json remains only as an infrequent compatibility export.
✅ Faster node and GUI architecture
- P2P, embedded RPC and GUI snapshots now share one canonical in-memory state owner.
- Incoming P2P messages no longer reload the complete chain from disk.
- Catch-up validates suffix blocks in memory and performs a controlled persistence commit.
- GUI chain snapshots use copy-on-write immutable state instead of deep-copying the complete history.
- QNS, pools, JIN, governance and QUB/JIN views are cached per canonical tip.
- Catch-up and snapshot workers are true single-flight.
- The status area now keeps a readable timestamped history instead of rapidly replacing one line.
✅ Node operations
- Added storage-stats for Fast Chain Engine metrics.
- Added explicit committed chain export.
- The public snapshot publisher now exports one committed Fast Chain Engine generation before publishing.
- HF122 authenticated headless RPC and qub-rpc-miner remain included.
Mining statistics remain neutral and aggregate-only. A payout address or pool label is not treated as proof of a unique person, machine or operator.
DAA, checkpoints, genesis, economics and QUB/JIN consensus rules are unchanged.
The USDJ bridge is not part of this release and will be delivered separately.
Everyone running QUB Core should update to v1.8.0 HF123.
The first startup can take longer while the existing validated chain is migrated to the Fast Chain Engine. Do not interrupt that first migration and do not delete your data directory.

🇪🇺 THE BIGGEST EXCHANGE ON EARTH IS ABOUT TO LOSE THE ENTIRE EU
Binance's MiCA license is set to be rejected in Greece, Reuters reports.
But Binance says the regulator reviewed them and found them compliant.
Both can't be true.
One of them ends Binance in the EU on July 1.

🔽 Download:
download.qubit-coin.io/mainn…
🧑💻 Source:
github.com/AlxProe/qub-core/…
🔎 Explorer:
explorer.qubit-coin.io/
⚠️ This is an emergency mandatory hotfix.
HF115 fixes a HF114 mining liveness issue where honest miners could pause at the public canonical tip when exact TCP seed/direct acknowledgement was unavailable or stale.
Everyone on HF114 should update to v1.7.3 HF115 immediately.
✅ What changed:
- Restored mainnet mining liveness after HF114.
- Mining can now use exact official HTTP/public-snapshot acknowledgement when TCP seed/direct acknowledgement is unavailable or stale.
- Private local stale/self-mined suffixes are still rejected.
- Two-peer ahead/conflict protection remains active.
- One noisy/future peer can no longer stop all mining or found-block submission.
- Reduced JIN / Library / mempool pressure with bounded mempool exchange.
- Candidate block building now uses bounded tx scanning and cached priority sorting.
- Block relay is lighter and no longer repeatedly sends full-chain context.
- Full QUB Explorer GUI support remains included.
- CPU/GPU mining performance target remains unchanged.
✅ Still scheduled:
- Verified Governance v1 activates at block #21000.
❌ Not changed:
- No seed update.
- No snapshot update.
- No DAA change.
- No JIN Public Sale consensus rule change.
- No JIN Coin -> JIN Token conversion re-enable.
- No QUB-side bridge activation.
Please update and verify the app shows v1.7.3.
Do not delete wallet.json.
Do not delete ethereum-wallets.json if you created/imported an Ethereum wallet.
Do not send private keys or seed phrases to anyone.
