Boi-1da on Drake’s ‘JANICE STFU’ lawsuit 👀🚨 “Every time you make a hit song there’s always some weirdo plotting to say you stole it from them. It’s happened to me every single time” (Boi-1da has roughly 30+ Billion streams for credited songs on Spotify)

A recording claimed to be the original demo at the centre of Drake’s ‘JANICE STFU’ lawsuit is circulating online 👀🚨 - Songwriter Aviel Hirschfield claims he recorded the demo in January 2026 and sent it to producers connected to Drake - He alleges the chorus was copied for Drake’s song, claiming the lyrics and melody are identical - Drake’s team has denied the allegations, stating that he wrote the song himself - The recording’s authenticity has not been independently verified (via: Complex)

Noel and Boi-1da both comment on @Whats_the_dirt video, pushing back against allegations that Drake stole the chorus of “Janice STFU,” following a new copyright lawsuit. “Every time you make a hit song there's always some weirdo plotting to say you stole it from them. The erosion of traditional media is sickening. Billboard, tmz, complex ect. All posted about this like it was gospel. Y’all are ruining social trust in your platform for engagement and fulfilling umg and roc nations agenda . Shameful.

Ovrkast reveals Drake first recorded ‘Make Them Pay’ right after For All The Dogs released in Q4 2023 👀🚨 - He sent the beat (which he thought was “iconic”) but heard nothing back at first - Drake later DM’d asking for a pack, then texted back after Ovrkast congratulated him on FATD going platinum: “I did my best rapping on this” (FATD went platinum in 2 months) - Ovrkast is also credited on “Red Button” and “The Shoe Fits” from the Scary Hours edition (Via: Complex)
